Shotgun Showdown
Chris Ehsaei and I developed this game using an early version of the Qualcomm Augmented Reality Plugin for Unity3D. Most of the other games for this platform required large image trackers as game boards, so Chris and I searched for a tracker that was equally as portable as the phone and that most people would have with them constantly = $. We also strived for a simple UI and intuitive gameplay, which I think we were pretty close to achieving.
On January 31st 2010 Chris and I demoed the game on CNN with GT Professor Blair Macintyre.

Shotgun Showdown is a competitive, two player handheld augmented reality game. The game is played on top of a pair of US paper bills, putting the game space on top of the square formed by the money. The game is inspired by the idea of a western-themed shooting gallery, and the content is modeled as 2D cardboard cutouts.
